Philip Ondik
He started his formative years at the Buru Buru Institute of Fine Arts, Nairobi then travelled to New Zealand to study at the Eastern Institute of Technology, Hawkes Bay.
His art has been widely exhibited locally at the British Council, British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA), Alliance Francaise, Italian Institute of Culture, United States Embassy, European Union, United Nations (UNEP), International School of Kenya, Michael Joseph Centre Safaricom, Lordship Africa, Braeburn School, Que Pasa Karen, Lord Erroll, Village Market, National Museums of Kenya, Karen Country Club, Talisman Restaurant, Shakespeare’s Coee and Almasi Art Agency, Diani Kenya. Birdswood, Vent and Quay Galleries in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Ondik’s art has also been featured and reviewed on Nation Television (NTV), Radio France International (RFI), Mashariki Mix- MultiChoice, Hawkes Bay Today, The Daily Nation and The Star Newspapers. He has also been involved in Charity Art Exhibitions in aid of August 7th Memorial Park, Amara Trust and Faraja Cancer Trust. Ondik currently lives and works in Nairobi, Kenya.
