It is difficult to stand out when surrounded by a plethora of artistic talent. Representing a stable of over 70 artists from more than 20 countries, we have compiled a list of five Kenyan artists that offer notable value to the collector heading into the new year.

There are a few things that are harder than starting from scratch. That is what we did for the NEW DISCOVERIES exhibition that opens on Tuesday 17 th December at AAA’s Diani Beach gallery space. 7 months in the making, we approached various artists that we had not worked with before and carefully sourced for paintings, sculptures and mixed media compositions. The result is a group show consisting of 10 talents from 3 countries that will be showing for the next 4 months.

GALLERY in Bermondsey, London, it was there in bucketloads.
The Maji is a breathtaking beach boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Diani Beach. Maji means water in Swahili, Evans Yegon, Alexis de Vilar, Christy Hannah and Fred Abuga are among some of the artists featured in this exhibition which will run for the next three months.
Almasi Art Agency was delighted to attend this year’s 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair that took place for the 11 th consecutive year at Somerset House, London. The leading art fair dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora presented a remarkable exhibition of some of the continent’s finest talent alongside other artists residing abroad who had worked on African subjects.
On the 13th of September, we had the privilege of holding Almasi Art Agency’s very first art class where we welcomed to the gallery space. The free class involved 13 students aged 12. They were taught about Fine African art; how it is created, the techniques, subjects and themes used. They were also taken through the intricacies of curating shows and fine art management.
Almasi Art Agency was delighted to announce the opening of the Agency’s new space on March 10th 2023. Located at Ali’s Plaza, a fittingly scenic building inspired by traditional Swahili art and architecture opposite Diani Reef Beach Resort and Spa. The Agency’s new home also serves as a gallery space, and is currently showing 10 artists from three different nations.
The exhibition explored the theme of “the power of renewal” and featured a series of sculptures and artwork made from recycled plastic bottles, discarded Vinyl CDs and objects of our daily life.
