A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MAJI

The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel is a breathtaking beach boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Diani
Beach. Maji means water in Swahili, the elixir of life and in the case of this beautiful venue, an absolute essential.

Within the exceptional coastal architecture and pale coral finishes, artwork from artists represented by the Almasi Art Agency furnish the walls in a new partnership.

The Maji continues to uphold its support for fine African art with this partnership and create an avenue for artists to showcase their talent through the platform of the highly-rated boutique hotel.

The partnership seeks to create a deeper appreciation of fine African art, while giving a platform for discussions to be had around the pieces that are on show.

The Maji Beach Boutique Hotel is 400 metres away from the AAA Gallery space on the Diani Beach Road, so it introduces the guests of the hotel to the wider collection by offering a teaser of what they can expect on their free gallery tour.

Evans Yegon, Alexis de Vilar, Christy Hannah and Fred Abuga are among some of the artists featured in this exhibition which will run for the next three months. The show is open to the guests of The Maji.

AAA is delighted to be working with The Maji on this installation project as we continue to incubate the careers of the professional artists we represent and encourage a deeper understanding of art about and from the African continent.
